SMART Team Successful in Bridgeport
Qualifier Although the venue was new (and much smaller!), the Bridgeport tournament rocked as always. Our hats are off to the FRC Sponsor teams the Gaelhawks and the Lions. We had a great time competing. Perhaps the most fun part was that Bridgeport allowed our team to do the full tag team for running the robot which is always fun. The robot scored well (318 out of 400) giving the SMART team the 1st place award for Robot Performance. We also earned the Champions Award! It was also fun to compete with and against our fellow team from Scofield Magnet Middle School. Hey, and did we mention it? It was Mr. Rigo's (our _senior_ mentor's) birthday!
